Physical Therapy
Our physical therapists are licensed healthcare professionals who will perform a
detailed evaluation and assessment of your health problem resulting from an injury
or disease. Based upon this information and general health history, we will then
develop a treatment program that will get you the highest level of function in the
least amount of time.
Generally, the patients we see need an ongoing strength or flexibility program in
order to keep this condition under control. This will give you the tools to manage
your health problem long after discharge from our services.
Occupational Therapy
The occupational therapy staff is highly skilled in treatment that focuses on helping
people achieve independence in all areas of their lives. In addition to dealing
with an individual’s physical well-being, our occupational therapists address
psychological, social and environmental factors that may hinder an individual’s
functioning in different ways.
A wide variety of people can benefit from occupational therapy, including the following:
work-related injuries, limitations following a stroke or heart attack, fractured
bones or other injuries from falls, sports injuries or accidents, as well as arthritis,
multiple sclerosis or other serious chronic conditions.
Speech Therapy
Our speech therapists are professionals educated in the study of human communication,
its development, and its disorders. By evaluating the speech, language, cognitive-communication,
and swallowing skills of children and adults, our speech therapists determine what
communication or swallowing problems exist and the best way to treat them.
