SCMC's E-Card Feature is currently undergoing some changes,
and we are not able to send e-cards. We are sorry for the inconvenience. If you
have any questions, please contact the Communications Department at 515-382-7164.
Story County Medical Center does it's best to make our patients feel at home while
they are hospitalized, but nothing is as nice for a patient as knowing that friends
and family are thinking of them and wishing them well.
If you'd like to send a free E-Card to a patient, SCMC will deliver it directly
to his/her room. E-Cards are delivered to patients and residents between the hours
of 10:00am and 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. Cards sent on the weekend will be
delivered on the following Monday.
The Fine Print
SCMC will do our best to deliver cards as soon as they are sent, but we can not
guarantee card delivery. SCMC cannot deliver cards to patients in our emergency
department or patients receiving outpatient surgery or diagnostic testing. Greetings
can not be forwarded to patients that have been discharged from the hospital. SCMC
reserves the right to read and review cards sent to patients; cards containing unsuitable
or offensive messages will not be delivered.
